You!
Do you want to:
Develop your skills and share knowledge?
Make a difference in your local community and beyond?
Are you:
Passionate about inclusive practices?
If this sounds like you, we’d love for you to be involved in Wigan SEND Champions where Parents/Carers and Practitioners learn together!
What are we offering in this handicap events?
We want to welcome parents and practitioners to Wigan's relaunched training and information programme. Each month we are offering a 1–2-hour virtual session with the objectives to upskill, share knowledge and best practice on a wide range of topics covering Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)
Feedback from parents and practitioners in the previous programme has been;
“I think the sessions have been more relevant than some of the training I have received from national organisations…..”
“I deal with all of these topics in my day-to-day work”
“…..it is so good to have this opportunity to be informed and up-skilled with SEND and try to pass some of this info on.”
