Additional training module for UKCP membership pathway.

About this event

This workshop is for ADMP UK members working towards full clinical membership with UKCP.

Participants can expect:

  • To gain an overview of verbal and movement-based assessment tools (including psychometrics and evidence-based assessment tools) and of models and methods of evaluating the outcomes of psychotherapy practice as relevant to DMP
  • To integrate contemporary perspectives on clinical assessment, formulation, treatment planning and intervention evaluation
  • To use the theory as a critical tool to understand treatment planning and evaluation and to gain a deeper understanding of the value of movement and the body in assessment and treatment planning
  • To apply in practice the language derived from contemporary perspectives on clinical assessment, formulation, treatment planning, and intervention evaluation
  • To critically reflect on the contemporary perspectives on clinical assessment, formulation, treatment planning, and intervention evaluation in attendees’ practice of DMP
  • To consider how to adapt DMP work to suit different organisations - identifying ways to track and monitor clients’ progression, and how to communicate that to organisations and MDTs

The handicap events module will be taught via Zoom.
