About this handicap event Workshop: Participants will gain a greater awareness of Behavior Analysis as a Science of Learning. Participants will acquire the understanding and application of the basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. A focus will be on utilizing B.F. Skinner’s analysis of Verbal Behavior to assist in the acquisition of language skills for children with developmental disabilities.

About the Presenter: Angelo Martinez is currently the Executive Director for The Jericho School. He is a member of the Florida Association of Behavior Analysts. Angelo graduated from Iowa State University and has been working in the field of Behavior Analysis for over 25 years. For the past 20 years he has specialized in ABA therapy and Verbal Behavior in working with children autism and other developmental disabilities.

Frequently asked questions
Will meals be provided? Breakfast of light pastries, coffee, tea, and water will be provided for all participants. Lunch will not be provided. However, there are a number of restaurants near by.
Is there parking? Yes, there is plenty of parking near hotel. There is no additional fee for parking.
Can I bring my child(ren)? We would prefer that no child(ren) attend this workshop as we will not have anyone on hand to be with them.
What do I need to bring? An open mind and questions! We will have a copy of the presentation, pens, etc. for you to keep.
