This is a series of 3 live webinars that will address some of the typical problems and frustrations encountered when using SketchUp.

They are being run throughout 2022

Each webinar will address a different collection of problems with examples and fixes.

Attendees are encouraged to send in their problems and difficulties in advance to the email below.

Paul creates models and details for many designers and organisations and has encountered and resolved many problems. The most common of these will be addressed as well as illustrating and showing the fixes for problems raised by attendees.

There may not be time to address questions raised during the live webinar. Where problems require more time or effort than is available, Paul will try to help after the webinar and provide a written solution or short video demonstration.

Submissions in advance of the webinars are encouraged, these might be a simple description or screen shot. You may be asked to submit your SketchUp model to help Paul understand the issue/s.

Can I access lectures that I have missed

All lectures are available as a recording

Access will be charged at the fee of the original lecture and can be obtained by emailing

How does training over the internet work?

These training sessions use Zoom. You do not need to download any software; simply follow the link that you receive, a few minutes before the training is scheduled to start.  

Do I need to download and software?

No. The tutor will "host" the event so there is nothing to do except follow the link that will be sent to you.

Do I need to take notes?

Not unless you want to. An advantage of online training is that the sessions will be recorded. This means that you can review and replay any part of the lecture. The recording can take a day to be processesed and a link will be sent for you to access and download the file.

What's the refund policy?

There are no refunds available for this series of events

Can I obtain a certificate of attendance?

Eventbrite will send acknowledgment and receipt of your booking.

At this time I am unable to offer a certificate confirming attendance. I hope to be able to do so soon.

Do I have to show my ticket

No, tickets will not be sent out prior to this event.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, your attendance can be transferred to a colleague/ friend. You must advise us of who is replacing you.

Tickets cannot be transferred to other events. Full refunds will be given should the organiser cancel the event for any reason.

What if I can’t make any of the dates listed?

The lecture is recorded so even if you are unable to attend a specific session, you will be able to access the recording and the support files

Please contact me if you have a specific need or would like to attend a lecture on days/ times different to those specified. I can be flexible and evenings and weekends are possible.
