The NDIS early childhood approach supports children aged 0-6 years, who have a disability or developmental delay and their parents or carers.
Benevolent Society is the NDIS Partner in the Community delivering the early childhood approach to Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Logan and Redlands.
As part of the approach, our multidisciplinary allied health team are delivering a series of informal developmental information sessions to families and invite you to attend.
For parents and carers, the information sessions are an opportunity to:
• Better understand your child’s support needs
• Learn strategies and receive tools that will promote their development
• Have your developmental questions answered by our team
• Develop a peer support network
Parents and carers of young children are often concerned about the type or amount of food their little one is eating. For some families it may also be that the demands of mealtimes and learning to use utensils is a tricky thing for their child. This session offers a number of practical strategies across a range of ‘eating’ topics.
