This handicap events seminar promotes strategies for helping parents raise healthy well-adjusted children by looking at:
• Parents Hope and Dreams
• Developmental delay and disability
• Some realities of being a parent
• Children’s behaviour, the tough part of being a parent
• What is positive parenting?
• Seven Key principles of being a parent.
We will be delivering the session via Zoom – please ensure that you have downloaded the app and joining instructions will be given once you have booked in.
Places are limited and all our courses are available to parents who live in Sheffield only. Please contact your local authority early help team as they may offer something similar. Any bookings made by parents not in Sheffield will be cancelled.
