Parent Support Network (PSN) is a monthly support and discussion event for families. PSN aims to create a safe space where families can share life experiences, information and resources. This session aims to offer support and resources to parent/caregivers with lived experience as immigrants, refugees or newcomers to Canada.
**If you require language interpretation, please let me know at least 2 days prior to the session**
Please join us to:
• Hear from Family Leader Gunjan Seth about her experience as a newcomer and a parent of a child with a disability
• Discuss common experiences of immigrants and refugees who are newcomers to Canada
• Ask questions, share your experiences, receive support and community resources
• Meet other newcomer parent/caregivers who have children with disabilities
***
Parent Support Network is:
- Created by families, for families
- Unique peer-to-peer support network
- At times includes hearing from childhood disability experts
- Open to all parents or caregivers of children living with disability
- All are welcome - you do not have to be a Holland Bloorview client to attend
This disability event will take place over Zoom. Live automated captions will be provided. If you have any questions, if you require language interpretation or any other accommodations, please contact Stephanie Moynagh at smoynagh@hollandbloorview.ca or 416-425-6220 ext. 6146 prior to the event.
