The NDIA invites participants, their families and support networks to an information session about pathways to post school life.

About this event

handicap events session for young people in Years 9-12 and people who support them.

The National Disability Insurance Agency would like to invite Victorian students with a disability in Years 9 -12, their parents, carers and education professionals, to attend a virtual information session about building skills and paving a pathway to post-school life.

We’ll discuss a range of NDIS-funded supports and other assistance to help young people build skills to prepare for their transition, and support them in achieving employment and other goals, post-school.

Information provided at this session will help you learn more about the supports for post school life. You can also ask questions about what the opportunities and supports available for participants, but we won’t be discussing personal details in this public event.

Registrations close three business days prior to the session date or once tickets have sold out. We only accept individual registrations for events to ensure all attendees receive links to join.

Two business days before the event, login details will be sent to the email address you provide at registration, so please ensure you enter your email address correctly when registering.

Accessibility is important to us. If you have accessibility requirements, please advise when registering. A minimum of five business days' notice is required to book Auslan interpreters and live captioning services.

For any enquiries regarding this session, please contact events@ndis.gov.au and include the session name in the subject line.

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) uses Eventbrite to register and promote our events. When you register for our events, Eventbrite will store your data (including personal information) in their servers in the United States. That means that if Eventbrite handles your data and breaches the Australian Privacy Principles set out in Schedule 1 to the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth) (Privacy Act), the NDIA won’t be accountable under the Privacy Act. If you don’t want to use Eventbrite to register for our event, you can contact the NDIA Events team on events@ndis.gov.au, and include the event’s session name and date in the subject line, and any accessibility requirements you might have.
