Find out how to apply for eligibility through the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). A brief overview of the services available once eligibility has been established will also be provided. Information offered in this handicap events workshop is relevant only to New York State services.
Workshops are open to people with I/DD, parents, family members, caregivers, and professionals. This workshop is geared toward people who have not yet applied for OPWDD eligibility. If you or your family member already have OPWDD eligibility, please contact YAI’s LINK department at 212.273.6182 and/or link@yai.org for assistance in accessing services.
To respect the privacy of our attendees, this workshop will not be recorded.
The Zoom link to access the workshop will be available under your Tickets on the Eventbrite account you used to register. You will also receive information on how to access the workshop the evening before the event takes place. If you do not receive this by 9 am the day of the event, please contact link@yai.org.
