Workshop Description:
In this presentation, OSHIP Medicate Volunteer Counselor, Darenda Geer will discuss how the receipt of financial awards such as payment from art sales, income, and grants effect disability benefits to include healthcare, housing, food assistance. Financial calculation examples will be given as well as work incentives that can help individuals keep more of their cash benefit when receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
