About this disability events
Providing appropriate and comprehensive support and treatment for persons with IDD and co-occurring mental health conditions can be very complex, requiring specific knowledge, skills, and approaches. This very comprehensive training addresses this and will take place over three full days on September 25-27, 2023 (9:00am – 4:00pm each day). The training will be an in-depth review of the NADD curriculum, Mental Health Approaches to Intellectual/Developmental Disability – Second Edition, which was published in 2022.
V. J. Petillo, REACH Region 4 System Trainer, will facilitate this handicap events training.
*The training series is free but all participants will need to purchase the Trainee Workbook for containing all of the slides. The cost is $34.95 and can be purchased at this link: https://link.zixcentral.com/u/eff40017/uOzX7Zr87BGxZQTPIYY8jw?u=https://thenadd.org/featured/
