We welcome Carers of any gender, sexuality and culture. You can be single or partnered, working or retired, with or without children of your own. To become a Foster Carer, your ability to care for and nurture a child is what really matters.
Some experience with children who have complex needs due to trauma or disability is desirable, but not essential. We provide full training, 24/7 support and financial assistance to help cover the cost of providing care.
If you're interested in sharing your home, heart and time with a child or young person in need, please join our free live webinar to find out exactly what's involved in becoming a foster carer and whether it's the right fit for you.
We will cover the different types of care, the application and assessment process, the roles and responsibilities of being a Foster Carer and the support you will receive from Life Without Barriers. Our experienced team and local Foster Carer will talk you through the process and answer any specific questions you have - no matter how big or small!
