Let's Talk: Communication Techniques

Communication is challenging for everyone and the frustration that accompanies miscommunication can make things even more difficult. Through this Lunch and Learn we will learn how to utilize communication techniques for couples, families, and for yourself. The goal is for you to leave this hour feeling more confident in helping clients communicate more effectively and to feel more comfortable communicating in your personal life.

FAQs:

What entrance to the building do I use for the event?

There will be signs outside directing you to the correct entrance. The event will be held on the bottom floor training room of EMERGE. You will enter in the side door of the building (to the right of the parking lot, facing the building) by the concrete staircase.

What is the Refund Policy?

Refunds will be permitted up to 7 days prior to the event. If you need a refund, please contact the Workshop Coordinator, Ann Kent at registration@emergeftc.org for your refund request to be processed.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not need a printed ticket. Save a copy of your email confirmation for your records.

Can I update my registration information?

If you need to change or update your registration information, please contact Ann Kent at registration@emergeftc.org

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Your ticket may only be used for this event.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

The name on the ticket needs to match the name of the person attending the event. If you plan to buy a ticket for someone else, make sure to register with the name and email of the person planning to attend the event.

How do I receive CE credit for this workshop?

After the workshop you will receive an online evaluation. Once your evaluation is submitted electronically, you will be emailed a copy of your workshop certificate.

How is EMERGE approaching safety during COVID19?

All who enter the building will be screened for COVID19. Limited tickets are available for in person events, and we are offering online tickets for some CE Events. For those who attend in person, face masks are available and seating is spaced 6 feet apart. Our workshop rooms are also sanitized before and after events.

The Zoom link for this virtual presentation will be sent out the morning of the presentation using the email given at checkout.
