What is it like to support someone with a learning disability and cerebral palsy?
I have cerebral palsy. I supported adults with a learning disability for almost 25 years. This is the handicap events course I was born to offer, but has been so long in the making!!
Supporting individuals with a learning disability and cerebral palsy can be draining, both physically and emotionally. But the rewards, even the smallest improvement in an individual's physical condition, or a new opportunity, can be massive!
