Respiratory conditions continue to be the leading cause of death for people with a learning disabilities. You will hear from specialist respiratory physiotherapists and speech and language therapist how to manage risk and prevent unplanned admission to hospital.
Patients with learning disabilities are one of the most vulnerable groups of patients. These exciting and informative sessions are suitable for all members of the general practice clinical teams and will provide interactive, and relevant topics to enhance the care of learning disability patients within your practice. These masterclass sessions have been developed by learning disability experts as well as patient and carer feedback to provide you with essential knowledge in a friendly, interactive environment. We strongly recommend a minimum of one clinical representative from your practice attends the sessions and we welcome representatives from your multidisciplinary team.
A link will be sent out closer to the time of the session so make sure the email address you have provided is accessed before the session.
If you are booking more than one person on the session you need to ensure an email address is provided for each person
