Marjorie McGee, Ph.D., is the REALD & SOGI Director in the Equity & Inclusion Division of the Oregon Health Authority. She oversees and is charged with implementing the Race, Ethnicity, Language and Disability (REALD) data collection standards, and soon the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) data collection standards. She oversees a unit with 24 positions (most of whom are new and in process of being filled). When able, she also conducts research and data quality analyses with other datasets using REALD data. She has published articles on health inequities experienced by people with disabilities; she has a keen interest in taking an intersectional lens to reveal avoidable social and health inequities. Dr. McGee holds BA in Psychology from Whitman College, a MS in Counseling from Western Oregon State University, and a PhD from Portland State University.
Kweku Wilson, PhD.
Equity & Inclusion Division of the Oregon Health Authority
Kweku is the Race Ethnicity Language and Disability (REALD) and Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Data Analytics Manager in the Equity & Inclusion Division of the Oregon Health Authority. He oversees the data analytics team’s work on developing data standards and health equity performance metrics, as well as supporting the implementation of REALD &SOGI data collection standards in data systems across the agency. The data team in the newly created REALD&SOGI unit comprises 10 analysts (most of whom are still being hired). Kweku’s research interests are in developing health equity metrics and evaluating the equity impacts of programs and policies. Dr. Wilson holds an MA in Economics and Business Administration from Oregon State University; an MPA-HA in Public Administration and Health Administration from Portland State University, and a PhD in Health Systems and Policy from Oregon Health & Science University and Portland State University(OHSU-PSU).
