There is a shared ambition, arguably national, to identify and meet needs at the earliest possible point, but what gets in the way for young children with SEN and disabilities? This session will identify some of the challenges and some recent developments in practice that have the potential to improve access and inclusion in the early years. There will be a discussion of the existing duties that we can draw on, as well as opportunities to discuss the challenges and successes for SENDIASS in the early years.
