1 billion people worldwide live with a disability, employers must create inclusive workplaces for those living with disabilities and long-term health conditions (many of which are invisible). If we exclude 20% of the population – what are we missing out on?
Disability inclusion architect Toby Mildon outlines some of the concerns employers have when hiring disabled workers, as well as the benefits that far outweigh these concerns.
Through his lived experiences (being born with a neuromuscular disability requiring 24x7 care) and working for large organisations like Accenture and the BBC, Toby will share his personal experiences of exclusion and inclusion.
