Emotion Coaching workshop for Staff Supporting Vulnerable Pupils

Arrive 9.00-9.30am ready for a 9.30am start.

This one day training is targeted at Attachment aware schools and school staff supporting vulnerable* pupils. 

*Vulnerable means those that are at higher risk of developing mental health concerns in later years. This might mean special educational needs, children in care or risk of exclusion from school, pupils with a parent with mental illness or substance misuse, children with a trauma or abuse history, child with physical disability or young carer and more...

Aims of the training:

• Consider what makes children and young people vulnerable
• Explain emotion coaching (EC)
• Provide an overview of neurodevelopment in children
• Explain emotion coaching and link to building resilience
• Demonstrate "Flipping the lid"  
• Explain the 5 steps of emotion coaching
• Involve activities using emotion coaching
• Provide the presentation materials for your workshop
• Certificate of attendance

Useful Information:

Arrive shortly after 9.00am for a 9.30am start, aim to finish by 11:30. Please access on onelaptop per attendee and preferably in a quiet space so we can hear you and you can hear the conversation.
