The Staff DisAbility Network are running a 1 hour panel session with various members of staff across London Met from both our Academic Teams and Professional Services. Each member of staff will discuss their journey to get where they are despite having a disability, the strengths that having a disability allows them to bring to their career and life, how they have managed their disability at London Met and the barriers that they have faced to date. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the disability event session.
This is a great opportunity to broaden your understanding of disability and gain an insight into our diverse staff body as well as gain further knowledge on supporting your colleagues and the contributions they can bring.
You will have an opportunity to hear some real-life stories first hand and become more aware of how diverse the London Met community is.
