Cliff Gliders is a grassroots organization that aims to support people with disabilities to lead independent, fulfilling lives. In order to fulfil this goal, we recognize how crucial it is to support those closest to our participants, YOU!
These disability events will provide the opportunity to connect with other siblings/friends of people living with disabilities. We do not have any topics set, however, group members are more than welcome to bring up anything that may be on your mind. Additionally, we recognize many of you are experiencing isolation due to the pandemic. This is why we started this initiative, to support you in creating connections and learning from peers!
Please feel free to join us any time between 7 and 8:30 PM. We realize many of you have very busy lives and we do not want to place additional pressure on you. If you feel like checking in for 10 minutes is what best meets your needs, please do so!
These group conversations will be facilitated by Nicole Turner, RSW, and Madison Bush, the cofounders of Cliff Gliders. Our goal is to create an open, inclusive space where you can speak openly about anything that may be on your mind. Nothing is off-limits, though please note we will be ensuring everyone is being respectful to one another.
We look forward to having you join us and seeing where this journey leads! Please feel free to share these events with anyone who you feel may benefit and to contact us with any questions you may have! You may email us at cliffgliders@gmail.com or message us via social media any time.
Until then, please keep taking care of yourselves and each other!
