Cosmo Switch is a newly launched accessibility switch specially designed to support people with cognitive and physical disabilities accessing their computers, tablets, AAC systems, media and other apps and devices. Cosmo is fully customisable to each user's individual needs, allowing to adjust the colour, brightness, responsiveness and many other features.
Cboard is a free, open-source AAC app supporting children and adults with speech and language impairments that can be fully customised based on users' specific needs. Cboard works in over 40 languages and is continuously growing to support more AAC users worldwide.
During this handicap session or workshop, we will talk about the beginnings of Cboard and Cosmo Switch and the main features of the two tools. You will be able to have a taste of how Cboard and Cosmo Switch make communication easier for everyone in practice.
